Have you thought about doing after work parties?

A new growing trend in direct sales businesses
Consultants and stylists alike are taking their products into corporate offices, schools, medical offices and more, after work hours for a quick shopping experience.
 
It is a known fact that women put off shopping for a bras, clothes, anything really due to kids events and taking care of family needs after work.
 
By bringing the products to women at work they are able to justify shopping since they are not really taking much extra time to shop.
 
I think that ruby ribbon trunk shows are a perfect fit for office parties, I have thought about doing after work parties for awhile now, I will probably plan one for this month or December.

how to enter a booking bonus

When entering a booking bonus you will need to make sure you add your previous hostess(getting the reward) to the guest list.
In her order scroll down to discount code and type in rrbookingbonus and apply then it will pop up to choose item for 75% off add to the order
Don't add the item until you add the code

When Setting up your rack...

It can get confusing on what items to put where and why so here is the way to stack your rack from left to right

1. Shaping essentials- this is where our company is set a part from the rest-- Wardrobe basics with shape wear built in!  Tops first, then skirts, then pants

2. Shape wear- the best shape wear on the market-- Classic cami, Full support, shaping brief, HWTS, slip, torsette, sheer collection: cami, briefs

3. Fashion layers- our gorgeous fashion line--

4. Holiday line if you have it

5. Gift sets

Try to follow the order of the catalog so the guests can follow along

Once you get your rack stacked make sure you wrap it up with your ruby ribbon sign like a present!

Retired items that should be removed from your rack
-Ruched top in misty gray
-Ruched skirt in misty gray
-boho tunic in citrus
-cabaƱa tunic- multi
-modern shift dress
-mock tank- white

If you have samples of the retired items you may sell the samples at a 40% discount(minimum discount you can deeply discount if you wish but you cannot sell with less than 40% discount)

I have kept my rushed items for extra sizes but make sure you tell the guests that it is only available in black
you could keep the mock tank for extra sizes if you have those again make sure you tell the guests it is only available in black

Book your trunk shows and events

In the back office by going to manage trunk shows and add a new event

This is very important to keep the home office informed of our events to yep keep inventory levels where they need to be.

As a team it is important to see what the team has scheduled for the month to help plan to meet team goals.

Occasionally I will do team contests for bookings I will not be able to reward you without your events logged into the back office.

As a stylist it is important because once you enter it in the back office you will set up the hostess portal which is super helpful in coaching your hostess for a successful party

For the first promotion for our team during the month of November

Book and close 3 trunk shows before November 21st and receive a FREE came in your desired color and size!!!(you can keep yourself or you can use on your rack)

Ideas on booking fall and Holiday Shows

Here are just a few ideas presented by Donna Versola Director of Sales West, shared from Mary Ann Senior Leader of our team

  • Start with Stocking Stuffers- start each presentation till Christmas with stocking stuffer ideas
    • -petals
    • -3 pack panties

  • Blender/Vendor events
    • -set up a small vendor even with other direct sellers
    • - remember to only invite ones that you trust
    • -try to avoid completion: jewelry is not direct competition but it is considered an emotional purchase which could take customers away from you
    • -pampered chef, tastefully simple, candle companies
  • Everyone invites customers and friends so we all benefit
  • November is a fabulous time to set one up
  • Think about your hostess schedule shows on weeknights or Saturday mornings to reduce cancellations
  • Hostess happy hour- 1 hour only- snacks, shopping then off to the next event

  • Food pantry show- bring a canned food to donate to a food pantry you can match the donation or give customer free shipping if they bring a canned food item

  • Offer a WOW show- within one week offer a incentive to do this-- gift bags filled with small gifts and the hostess packet

  • Invite guests to shape up their Holiday wardrobe-- encourage them to bring a holiday outfit and then help her pick appropriate shape wear

  • Have a boutique shop in your home every ... day at... time- make up postcard invites to pass out for women to be able to stop by and shop
    • The post card should say something like this: "My shop is open every Wednesday Evening from 5-7PM and I would love for you to stop by and take a look at our fabulous fall and gorgeous Holiday items... including several easy gift ideas!"

Promote in October

October is the perfect month to promote to the next level on the career plan

Why not earn 30% instead of 20%?

All you need is at least one active stylist and monthly sales of $1500.00

So you have the sales but no recruits-- what to do?

Start thinking about potential stylists that you can share the opportunity with

Keep your radar on to look for potential stylists looking for the opportunity

- Anyone who asks lots of questions about your business such as the following

- Do you enjoy your job?
- How much inventory do you have to keep?
 - Is it easy being a stylist?
 - How much money do you actually make?
 - How many days do you have to work?
 - Are the samples really yours?

When sharing the opportunity remember to always be happy and positive never pushy remember how it was when you signed up yourself

The back office has all the resources you will need to make up some opportunity packets and training on how to share the opportunity
